Case overview
What this settlement is about
Grubhub has settled a class action lawsuit accusing the company of falsely or misleadingly advertising its delivery fees, service fees, and menu prices on orders placed between January 24, 2019 and January 12, 2026. Grubhub denies any wrongdoing, and no court has ruled on the claims — both sides chose to settle rather than face the cost and uncertainty of a trial. Eligible customers who file a valid claim can receive a $10.00 Grubhub site credit, redeemable on the Grubhub app or website. No proof of purchase is needed, but claimants must provide their full name, mailing address, and valid email address, and certify the information under penalty of perjury. To find out if you're covered, check for a notice sent by mail or email. You can also verify eligibility using the ID Lookup Form on the claim form website (select "Apply on Website"); you'll need the 10-character Unique ID from your notice to start a claim. If you never got a notice or misplaced it, call the Settlement Administrator at 1-877-522-2081 to retrieve your Unique ID.
